An odd combination to say the least, but when you walk into the store it actually makes sense. Gitarren & Lampen opened its doors in October 2014 in Osnabrück and they sell…guitars and lamps. Packed with old guitars, amps and stylish lamps, the store has a very nice, cosey feel to it. Before it started out, States of Grace was asked to design a logo and graphic style to go with, not in the least to be applied in the store’s interior.
The lettering and colors in the logo convey a very strong ’seventies‘-feel. A part from that, the logo is designed in such a way, that it is adjustable to fit nicely in any format. Whereas in the logo, the combination of guitars and lamps may not be all that obvious at first glance, the pattern to go with that logo clearly consists of that odd couple. We used the pattern for the wallpaper in the store. Also it accompanies the logo on the flyers, adds, cards etc.
